Full Stack Developer Employment Type: Full Time (Exempt) Location: Falls Church, VA (remote within the DMV) The Role: Tesla Government is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team and build new features for our client-facing websites. We're looking for a generalist who likes learning new technologies. You will get to work on a relatively new project with a modern microservice architecture using a tech stack that includes Java, Python, Typescript, Spring Boot, React, MySQL and AWS. Our agile team has daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint plannings, and weekly deployments. About Us: Tesla Government Inc. Required Qualifications: US Citizen and eligible for a security clearance 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer Computer science or related engineering degree from a 4-year university or equivalent work experience Experience writing production code in a team setting Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Java web development, preferably with Spring Boot Experience working with a modern Javascript framework, preferably React Strong command of TypeScript Desired Qualifications: Familiarity working in an IDE such as IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, NetBeans, and/or Visual Studio Code Microservices or SOA experience Strong Linux (terminal) skills Strong SQL skills To apply for this position, please include a resume and cover letter to include the following: A statement confirming US CITIZENSHIP and eligibility to obtain a security clearance A short description of a development project you have worked on, your role, the outcome A code sample is appreciated or just your GitHub profile Recruiter and development service representatives need not apply Salary: The wage range for this role takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Tesla, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
