About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will work closely with our existing team to drive process improvements, ensure accurate reporting of working costs, and contribute to the development of our financial capabilities. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere and collaborate with our team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
• Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and entities
• Maintain financial records for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
• Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors for annual audits and quarterly reviews
• Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification a plus
• Excellent spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
• Strong communication, oral, and written skills, with a solid command of English
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite is a plus
