About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for answering customer inquiries, processing orders, researching and resolving requests, and utilizing product knowledge to improve sales and maintain customer satisfaction. You will maintain an ongoing relationship with customers, sales staff, distribution, purchasing, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Using professional written and verbal communications via phone, fax, or email, process orders received by mail, telephone, Fax, EDI, and/or through personal customer contact.
  • Provide pricing, availability, and schedule information within established guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Research and obtain resolution of a variety of customer inquiries, expediting the delivery of selected orders and tracking order activity to alert appropriate staff of any potential delivery problems.
  • Act as a communication link between customers and sales staff to assure responsiveness and foster open communication internally and externally.
  • Champion creative change to improve processing and service levels, providing guidance and assistance to new or less experienced staff.
  • Perform other similar and related duties as required to ensure the success of the team and the organization.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a successful customer environment/position, with experience in the manufacturing or electrical industry required.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and give and receive detailed/complex information in an understandable way.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in Data Centers and extensive product knowledge.
  • Exposure to Salesforce and experience collaborating with sales teams.
  • Presentation and training experience.
  • Proficiency in mainframe order entry application, with demonstrated ability to type 50 w.p.m. with 100% accuracy.
