Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on the 3rd shift, from 11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday. For the first month, you will be required to train on the 1st shift. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in the daily input of time and production data into our Blue Chip computer system, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our production performance and incentive dollar calculations for all distribution center associates and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Accuracy: Input time and production data for all DC associates into Blue Chip computer systems, including summarizing production sheets, checking for accuracy, and reporting errors.
  • Performance Calculations: Translate DCIS data and calculate performances for each associate covered by the program, as well as calculate individual bonus dollars based on the associate's ability to perform against individual production standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate and distribute production and incentive dollar reports to DC Management and Payroll, and analyze system output to troubleshoot erroneous data.
  • Administrative Tasks: File paperwork in accordance with established procedures, rotate files periodically for storage, and undertake other projects as assigned.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Clerical/Administrative Experience: A background in clerical or administrative work, with experience in data entry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems, with 10-key experience and good math skills. Familiarity with the Blue Chip system or similar software is an asset.
  • Organizational and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment. Good interpersonal skills are essential for communicating with DC Management, the Engineering team, and Payroll staff.
  • Physical Requirements: The ability to lift and move boxes up to 25 lbs, as required.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience in a Distribution Center Environment: Previous experience working in a distribution center or similar environment, with knowledge of production processes and systems.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Proficiency in additional software applications, such as Microsoft Office, and experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Compensation and Benefits
