About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Remote Chat Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers who have questions or concerns about our products or services. You will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner, resolving customer issues and complaints, and providing accurate information to customers. Your goal will be to ensure that customers feel valued and heard, and that their issues are fully resolved in a satisfactory manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via chat in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that customers feel valued and heard.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, such as refunds, replacement products, or other solutions.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are fully resolved and that they are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Use available resources to research and provide accurate information to customers, staying up-to-date on the latest information about our products and services.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to appropriate departments, ensuring that urgent or complex issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Meet daily and weekly performance metrics, including metrics related to customer satisfaction, response times, and issue resolution times.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer concerns and trends, helping us to continually improve our products and services.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach. You should be self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a remote environment, with a strong ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks. Additionally, you should be comfortable using various software applications, such as chat software, email clients, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or chat-based environment.
  • Familiarity with blithequark's products and services, as well as our customer service policies and procedures.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of customer inquiries and issues to resolve.
