About You

Your Home Office Environment
To work as a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will need:
- A computer meeting the following criteria:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 (Macs and Chromebooks are not supported at this time)
- Memory: 8GB of RAM
- CPUs (Speed * Processors): 6
- Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free space
- Sound: sound card (standard on most computers)
- Up-to-date antivirus software
- Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)
- Dual monitors
- A USB noise-cancelling headset
- A webcam for your certification experience

Flexible Hours of Operation
As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will enjoy flexible scheduling, using a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within our client's hours of operation. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 08:00 PM ET. Please note that our client requires contractors to service at least 20 hours per week, with a preference for contractors who can service some hours on Mondays and Fridays.
Pay and Perks
This flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $13 per hour. Prior to supporting our client, you will need to successfully complete a Certification class. While you will not be able to invoice for the $13 per hour during Certification, you will have the ability to earn certification incentives. We offer two certification options:
- Option 1: December 16th - December 20th, with a follow-up two-day certification class scheduled at a later date
- Option 2: December 30th - January 8th, with class not held on New Year's Day
Upon successful completion of the certification program, you will receive a certification incentive and be eligible to start servicing our client. As an independent contractor with blithequark, you will also enjoy significant savings in expenses related to transportation, clothing, childcare or eldercare, and food. You may also qualify for home office tax deductions, but we recommend consulting with an accountant to determine eligibility.
