About the Role

We are seeking a self-driven, punctual, and engaged individual to fill this fully remote position. As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for managing tasks with a strong sense of urgency, effectively multi-tasking, and demonstrating a proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work. Your attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our data entry processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work, showing initiative and a strong sense of urgency
  • Manage tasks effectively, multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
  • Review all orders meticulously for completeness and accuracy, ensuring high-quality data entry
  • Enter information into databases and/or software programs by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on a keyboard or optical scanner, uploading data from outside sources, and/or transcribing audio and video content
  • Read source documents, such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields using keyboards or scanners
  • Compare data with source documents and utilize documentation verification formats to detect and correct recording and data entry errors, reporting them to supervisors as needed

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Quick and accurate typing and word processing skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality and privacy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to read, understand, evaluate, and verify a wide range of materials and information, recognizing and correcting discrepancies
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with database management and data analysis
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box

Compensation and Benefits
