We are committed to fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, and we are seeking like-minded professionals to join our team. **Competencies** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following competencies: * **Team Success**: You will work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and deliver exceptional service to our clients. * **Customer/Client Focus**: You will be dedicated to providing a positive customer experience, anticipating and meeting the needs of our clients, and promoting retention and a quality service image. * **Personal Credibility**: You will be a trusted and respected member of our team, known for your integrity, professionalism, and expertise in 401(k) administration. * **Applied Learning**: You will be committed to continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in customer care and 401(k) administration. **Core Responsibilities** As a Customer Care Specialist II, your primary responsibilities will include: * **Answering Inbound Calls**: You will be responsible for answering inbound calls from employees, employers, and/or Financial Advisors (FAs) of companies that have 401(k) services, providing solutions and processing requests generated from these calls. * **Accurate and Timely Completion of Tasks**: You will accurately and timely complete day-to-day tasks associated with 401(k) plan operation, including documentation of customer contacts and actions taken. * **Proactive Problem-Solving**: You will proactively discover and resolve potential problems through clear, confident, and effective communication with partners, clients, employers, agencies, and external/internal customers, maintaining positive working relationships to promote retention and a quality service image. * **Developing Product and Process Knowledge**: You will develop and apply continuously growing product and process knowledge to effectively anticipate and meet customer service needs. * **Identifying and Resolving Problems**: You will continually identify problems, including but not limited to procedural gaps, and assist in resolving with the appropriate resource(s), such as a Leader, Quality Assurance, and/or others. **Job Requirements** To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: * **Regular Attendance and Punctuality**: You will be required to attend work regularly and be punctual. * **Autonomy and Teamwork**: You will be able to work autonomously or as part of a team. * **Fast-Paced Environment**: You will be able to work in a fast-paced, change-driven environment. * **Adherence to Company Policies**: You will be required to adhere to all company policies and procedures. **Minimum Qualifications** To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications: * **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: You will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent. * **401(k) Industry Knowledge and Experience**: You will need to have knowledge and experience in the 401(k) industry. * **Employer Training**: You will need to have completed blithequark's internal 8-week Employer training course. * **Mathematical Abilities and Computer Skills**: You will need to have solid mathematical abilities and computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word. * **Excellent Communication, Analytical, Problem Resolution Skills, and Detail Orientation**: You will need to have excellent communication, analytical, problem resolution skills, and detail orientation. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: * **Associates or Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Certifications**: You will have an associates or bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in business, communications, finance, or accounting or equivalent work experience. * **Fluent in English and Spanish**: You will be fluent in English and Spanish. * **Call Center Experience**: You will have experience in a call center environment. * **Retirement Industry Experience**: You will have experience in the retirement industry. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
