Inspired HR Ltd is an investment firm seeking a General Manager, Property Operations & Growth to oversee and scale a premium short-term rental portfolio. The role involves managing daily operations of existing properties, enhancing guest experiences, and identifying new property opportunities for expansion. Responsibilities • Oversee daily operations for all existing short-term rental properties (currently 3 single-family homes). • Manage guest communication, handle booking issues, and ensure a consistently high level of service. • Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance teams, and other vendors to maintain quality and readiness. • Ensure properties meet and exceed Airbnb Superhost standards and guest expectations. • Identify and evaluate new property opportunities in California and other STR-friendly markets (e.g. Arizona, Florida, Tennessee, Hawaii). • Negotiate leases or partnership agreements with owners and bring new properties into the portfolio. • Lead the onboarding process: from furnishing and staging to listing creation and platform setup. • Work closely with leadership on location strategy, growth planning, and performance targets. • Manage dynamic pricing and occupancy strategies using effective software tools (e.g. PriceLabs, Hostaway). • Track and report on key metrics (occupancy, revenue per property, operating costs). • Maintain budget discipline while optimizing guest experience and property profitability. • Use existing backend systems (property management software, booking platforms, pricing tools) to manage and scale efficiently. Skills • You’ve worked in property management, hospitality, short-term rentals, or real estate with proven success managing day-to-day operations. • You understand how platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com work especially how to build and maintain high-performing listings. • You’re not just an operator you’re also a business builder. You’re comfortable evaluating new markets, negotiating deals, and scaling a portfolio. • You’re organized, hands-on, and comfortable working with a remote support team. • You can manage vendors, stay on top of timelines, and respond quickly when issues come up. • You’re financially literate you understand how revenue, cost, and margin work together and how to improve them. • You’re based in United States (preferably near the Coachella Valley, California) with openness to travel as the business expands.
