Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Medical Assistant | Virtual Healthcare Support Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and organizing medical records and charts for review by physicians, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical record requirements.
  • Updating patient history, physical exam details, and additional pertinent health information in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Dispatching completed documentation to physicians for review and approval, following established facility protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in customer service or healthcare-related roles, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals, patients, and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to efficiently manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

  • Comfortable working remotely with the following equipment:
    • Desktop/Laptop with at least an i3/Ryzen3 processor and 8GB of RAM.
    • Webcam, noise-canceling headset, and a reliable internet connection (minimum 30mbps).
    • A dedicated and quiet workspace at home.
