We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Remote Legal Transcriptionist to join our team of independent contractors. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with accuracy and attention to detail
- Process audio recordings while adhering to style guides and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all transcripts

- Collaborate remotely with our in-office team to ensure seamless workflow and support
- Stay up-to-date with advanced transcription technologies and best practices in the field
Essential Qualifications
- Significant experience in legal transcription or court reporting, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to process extreme audio/text content (content may be offensive)
- Outstanding literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, with flexibility to set own schedule
- Typing proficiency in both speed and accuracy
- Familiarity with legal terminology and documentation
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certification or degree in court reporting or legal transcription
- Experience with court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription
- Ability to collaborate remotely and work in a team environment
- Court reporting students will also be considered
