Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Provider Enrollment Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Provider Enrollment Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating all necessary provider enrollment applications for billing to various carriers. Key Responsibilities

As a Provider Enrollment Maintenance Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating "Applications Stopped in House" reports from Teamworks to identify areas that require attention
  • Reviewing weekly exception reports from management to prioritize critical issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Preparing and sending applications to payers, ensuring that all applicable documents have been sent/received in a timely manner
  • Completing online applications and CAQH re-attestations, as well as preparing and submitting completed payer applications
  • Documenting data in Teamworks and maintaining accurate records
  • Requesting IDX# from billing center/IDX maintenance and resolving application deficiencies
  • Updating management when payers request additional forms or updating PE forms
  • Training staff on provider enrollment processes and partnering with Clinician Onboarding Liaison (COL) and Credentials Coordinator (CDR) to ensure seamless operations
  • Supporting the Provider Enrollment department and contributing to the overall success of the team

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Experience working in Provider Enrollment and with CAQH is required, with a strong understanding of the provider enrollment process and the ability to navigate complex systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Meticulous accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with Providers, Medical Directors, and VPOs
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines and function in stressful situations, with a strong sense of calm and composure under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

While not required, the following qualifications and experience are preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare administration and billing processes, with a understanding of the importance of accurate and timely provider enrollment
  • Experience with Teamworks or similar software, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
  • Certification in provider enrollment or a related field, such as CPEN or CMC
