About the Opportunity

Join a forward‑thinking organization that puts people at the heart of everything it does. We are looking for a dynamic, results‑driven People Solutions Business Partner who thrives in a remote work environment and is passionate about shaping a high‑performance culture. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, champion employee experience, and translate data‑driven insights into strategic HR initiatives that accelerate business growth.

Why This Role Is Unique

Our company operates in a rapidly evolving industry where talent is the most valuable asset. As a remote hub team member, you will have the flexibility to work from any of the approved U.S. states while enjoying the full support of a collaborative, technology‑enabled HR community. The position offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a clear pathway for professional advancement.

Core Responsibilities

As a People Solutions Business Partner, you will own a broad portfolio of HR functions, ranging from employee engagement to compensation strategy. Your day‑to‑day activities will include:

  • Strategic HR Leadership: Design, evaluate, and implement end‑to‑end HR programs that drive short‑term and long‑term business objectives, including talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and employee wellness.
  • Trusted Advisory Role: Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and senior leaders, providing expert guidance on performance issues, policy interpretation, talent development, and compensation structures.
  • Employee Relations Management: Lead a dedicated team to address complex employee concerns, manage escalated or highly sensitive investigations, and ensure timely, fair resolutions that align with both legal requirements and organizational values.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Conduct comprehensive analyses of HR metrics—such as turnover rates, engagement scores, and compensation benchmarks—and translate findings into actionable recommendations supported by clear visualizations and dashboards.
  • Learning & Development Facilitation: Design and deliver HR learning sessions covering performance management best practices, talent sourcing techniques, compensation planning, and leadership development; partner with Learning & Development teams to integrate these sessions into broader organizational programs.
  • Policy & Communication Management: Craft and disseminate clear, concise HR communications that support the rollout of new processes, systems (including Workday), and technology platforms, ensuring consistent understanding across the global workforce.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Stay abreast of emerging HR trends, legal updates, and best practices; evaluate current programs against industry benchmarks and propose enhancements that drive efficiency, employee satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Reinforce company values, philosophies, and leadership behaviors through everyday interactions, coaching, and recognition programs that promote a high‑performing, inclusive environment.

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must bring a blend of experience, education, and personal attributes that align with our high standards.

  • Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a fast‑paced, remote or hybrid organization. Demonstrated success in partnering with senior leaders and managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. HR certification(s) such as SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SP, PHR, or SPHR are considered assets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with Workday (or similar HCM platforms) and advanced Excel skills—including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data visualization techniques. Ability to pass a rigorous Excel assessment.
  • Legal Knowledge: Strong familiarity with U.S. employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations, as well as state‑specific nuances for the locations we serve.
  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities; comfortable presenting to leadership teams and delivering training sessions to diverse audiences.
  • Analytical Acumen: Proven record of interpreting complex data sets, building predictive models, and communicating insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, influence without authority, and act as a role model for the company’s core values.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Experience implementing large‑scale HR technology rollouts, especially Workday modules such as Compensation, Talent Management, or Core HR.
  • Background in developing and managing employee engagement surveys, action planning, and follow‑up reporting.
  • Track record of designing compensation structures (salary bands, incentive plans) that attract and retain top talent.
  • Familiarity with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and the ability to embed DEI principles into everyday HR practices.
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci) or experience leading organizational change projects.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, align HR initiatives with business goals, and anticipate future talent needs.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Sensitivity to employee concerns, strong listening skills, and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem Solving: Creative approach to resolving complex HR challenges, balancing legal compliance with business pragmatism.
  • Collaboration: Skilled at fostering partnerships across HR sub‑functions (Recruiting, Learning, Compensation) and with other business units.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable thriving in a remote work setting, managing shifting priorities, and embracing new technologies.
  • Integrity & Confidentiality: Upholds the highest ethical standards when handling sensitive employee information.
