Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Temporary Stock/Support Associate to join our remote team at Disney Springs. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom and sales floor, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our sales team in achieving their goals. Key Responsibilities
- Process inbound deliveries in a timely manner, prioritizing the daily workload to ensure efficient stockroom operations.
- Ensure proper organization and accessibility of merchandise, maintaining a clean and clutter-free stockroom and sales floor.
- Be knowledgeable of stock levels, including quantity, availability, and sales performance, to inform inventory management decisions.
- Support floor moves and ensure the sales floor is stocked throughout the day, maintaining a visually appealing and engaging shopping environment.
- Conduct price changes and markdowns as necessary, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization standards on the sales floor, in the stockroom, and offsite/warehouse.
- Audit compliance and achieve shrinkage goals, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Support sales floor activities, prioritizing guest satisfaction and providing exceptional customer service.
- Be available to cashier or greet guests as needed, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a retail industry, preferably in a stock associate or similar role.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including stockroom management and sales floor operations.
- Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 60 pounds, with frequent standing and walking required.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
