Detailed Job Description: This position will work to support and enhance existing web applications maintained within the Enterprise section. This person will join an existing team responsible for maintaining and enhancing web-based applications. The preferred candidate will have experience with the tools outlined below. Required technical skills: • C# and ASP.NET (MVC 5 & Core 8) - Proven experience building and maintaining web applications using both legacy (.NET Framework) and modern (.NET Core) platforms. • .NET Core 6/7/8 - Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and web applications using .NET Core, including dependency injection, middleware, and minimal APIs. • VB.NET - Ability to understand, debug, and enhance legacy codebase. • .NET Framework (4.8) - Deep understanding of the .NET runtime, libraries, and configuration. • Kendo UI (jQuery + MVC Wrappers) Experience in creating rich Ul components and interaction using Kendo UI widgets. • JavaScript & jQuery - Strong proficiency in frontend scripting, DOM manipulation, AJAX calls, and event-driven UI design. • SQL Server - Experience in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, indexing, and performance tuning. • Oracle & DB2 - Solid understanding of working with multiple RDBMS systems, with ability to handle data integration, migration, and cross-platform queries. The person in this position will work closely with the team in developing the frontend and server side of the web application. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing fine-grained authorization policies and mechanisms within applications to control specific data, features, and functionalities at a granular level is valuable.
