Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Google Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud services. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our on-premise and cloud-based systems, while also driving cost savings and efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and more.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency and reduce manual intervention, using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and other automation tools.
  • Implement monitoring solutions and respond to incidents to minimize downtime and ensure quick recovery, using Prometheus, Grafana, and other monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance, and ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning to ensure systems can handle future growth, and make recommendations for infrastructure upgrades and optimizations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures, to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Google Cloud Platform Engineer with a strong background in site reliability engineering and cloud infrastructure management. If you have a passion for innovation and a drive to deliver exceptional results, we'd love to hear from you.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and more.
  • Familiarity with Google BI and AI/ML tools, such as Looker, BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, and more.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and more.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools, such as Azure pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and more.
  • Strong scripting skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, and more.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, with experience in designing and implementing network architectures.
  • Experience with monitoring tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, and more.

Preferred Certifications

  • Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or similar Linux certification
