Role Overview – Enterprise Account Executive (Remote)

We are seeking an energetic Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth across mid‑size and large organizations throughout North America. Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end sales process—from prospecting and pipeline generation to closing and onboarding—while acting as a trusted advisor on DoorDash’s B2B meal solutions.

This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location within the United States or Canada, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams—including product, marketing, operations, and customer success—to ensure seamless delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and engage new enterprise prospects through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
  • Full‑Cycle Sales Management: Conduct discovery calls, deliver product demos, negotiate contracts, and close deals ranging from $100K to $1M+ in annual recurring revenue.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Build customized account strategies that align DoorDash’s solutions with the client’s employee‑benefit goals, cost‑optimization targets, and cultural initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with Marketing for demand generation, with Product for feature feedback, and with Customer Success to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Data‑Driven Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline metrics in Salesforce, provide weekly forecasts, and leverage analytics to refine outreach tactics.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent DoorDash at industry events, webinars, and virtual roundtables to position the brand as the premier benefits partner for modern workplaces.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies that influence corporate meal programs and employee wellness.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 + years of proven success in high‑volume inside or outside sales, preferably within B2B SaaS, food‑service, or employee‑benefits sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell to mid‑size to large enterprises (500+ employees), including experience navigating complex buying committees.
  • Track record of managing full sales cycles—from prospecting to contract signing—and consistently exceeding quota.
  • Proficiency with core sales enablement tools: Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Google Workspace.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading discovery calls and delivering compelling demos.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑oriented mindset with a relentless curiosity about people, technology, and the evolving workplace.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Previous experience selling subscription‑based or platform solutions that integrate with HR or procurement systems.
  • Understanding of corporate wellness trends, employee engagement strategies, and total rewards programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining a high degree of organization.
  • Creative problem‑solving skills—crafting unique value propositions that differentiate DoorDash from traditional catering or food‑service vendors.
  • Multilingual capabilities or experience working with international accounts are a plus.

Core Competencies for Success

  • Customer‑Centricity: Put the client’s needs at the forefront of every interaction, ensuring solutions drive tangible business outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Translate macro‑level business objectives into actionable sales tactics.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Navigate long sales cycles with patience and tenacity, turning objections into opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner effectively across functions, sharing insights and championing the collective success of the organization.
  • Analytical Acumen: Leverage data to diagnose pipeline health, forecast accurately, and continuously improve win rates.
