Key Responsibilities
- Interface with customers via telephone, written correspondence, fax, web, and/or electronic mail to provide timely and effective support
- Research customer information utilizing appropriate systems, policies, regulations, procedures, and other reference materials to resolve customer issues efficiently
- Elevate sensitive customer requests when necessary, ensuring that our members receive the support they need
- Comply with State and Federal regulations and mandates, staying up-to-date on changing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and support our members
- Remain current on knowledge of diverse products and proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent and three years of experience in a complaint-type customer service office setting (health insurance or related field preferred)
- Availability for 9-12 weeks of training, which will be conducted virtually
- Reliable internet service provider and a dedicated, distraction-free workplace
