About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support via inbound calls. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering inbound calls about our products and services in a professional and courteous manner
  • Understanding and adhering to policies and procedures used for daily operations to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Taking accountability for customer satisfaction, demonstrating a highly professional demeanor, and providing personalized solutions to meet their needs
  • Demonstrating a strong phone presence while assisting customers with less than perfect credit, and providing empathetic and supportive interactions
  • Achieving high satisfaction on customer surveys, and actively seeking feedback to continuously improve our services

Training and Development

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.00-18.90 per hour, with opportunities to increase your take-home pay through incentives and career advancement. Our top performers can earn up to an additional $3.50 per hour when working non-traditional hours, and bilingual skills are compensated with a 10% differential. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high volume of inbound calls, and prioritize tasks to meet performance metrics
  • Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate our customer relationship management (CRM) system and other software applications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Bilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance metrics
  • Knowledge of financial services or banking industry, with a basic understanding of credit and lending products
  • Experience with CRM software or other customer service technology platforms
