Remote Part‑Time Community Outreach Champion – Voter Engagement Advocate for Nova Scotia Provincial Election (Flexible Hours, Short‑Term Contract)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2025-11-03

About New Majority – Empowering the Next Generation of Voters

New Majority is a dynamic, non‑profit, non‑partisan organization dedicated to inspiring young Canadians to become active participants in our democratic process. Founded with the belief that every voice matters, we work across the country to demystify voting, spark civic curiosity, and create pathways for meaningful engagement. With a lean team of passionate changemakers headquartered in Toronto and a growing network of volunteers and part‑time staff, we have built a reputation for delivering impactful, research‑backed campaigns that resonate with youth culture.

Our latest initiative focuses on the upcoming Nova Scotia provincial election, slated for November 26. The goal is simple yet powerful: to encourage eligible voters in the province—especially those within our volunteers’ personal networks—to vote, understand the importance of their ballot, and feel confident navigating the electoral process. By joining us as a Community Connector, you become a vital conduit between New Majority’s mission and the everyday conversations that drive democratic participation.

Beyond the $150 stipend, you will gain:

  • Hands‑on experience in grassroots civic engagement.
  • Professional references from a respected non‑profit organization.
  • The satisfaction of contributing to higher voter turnout in Nova Scotia.
  • Opportunities to expand your network within the civic tech and nonprofit sectors.
