About the Role - Hybrid Commercial Customer Care Professional

We're currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybrid Commercial Customer Care Professional to join our team. As a Hybrid Commercial Customer Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere, and we're looking for someone who is passionate about customer service, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pioneering the servicing of our American Express Business Line of Credit and banking products to lead the way in evolving American Express' servicing strategy
  • Providing exceptional customer care by responding to questions raised through phone and chat regarding Debit accounts in a quick-paced, dependent customer care environment
  • Consistent usage of our customer servicing model to ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner
  • Supporting Customer First philosophy by ensuring that all customer requests are addressed in a timely and effective manner
  • Supporting customers with maintenance, transactions, and funds associated inquiries to ensure that their needs are met
  • Responding to customer inquiries around rewards and redemption with the ability to address end-to-end issues
  • Troubleshooting customer issues and determining the best course of action to resolve them
  • Adhering to all regulatory and compliance guidelines associated with servicing practices to ensure that we maintain the highest standards of integrity and professionalism

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications:

  • Customer service experience with a passion for building customer loyalty through excellent listening, consultative relationship building, resourcefulness, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven success in a customer service environment (2+ years)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced metric-driven environment with skilled multitasking and navigation in web-based environments
  • Ability to navigate multiple servicing platforms to ensure that all customer interactions are handled efficiently and effectively
  • Proven ability to manage change and continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in our industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded:

  • Financial servicing experience to ensure that you have a deep understanding of our products and services
  • Experience working in a 24/7 environment to ensure that you are able to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances

Hybrid Work at Home Requirements

To work from home, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Current minimum speed requirements are 25 Mbps download x 5 Mbps upload speeds, ideally through broadband cable or fiber optic services (WiFi, Satellite, or SDL is not permitted)
  • Work location free from noise and distractions to ensure that you can focus on your work and provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to use a webcam to ensure that you can participate in virtual meetings and training sessions
