Job Overview

This Work from Home Amazon Data Entry position is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and possess excellent communication skills. As a key member of our remote team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including data entry, inventory management, and ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process inventory, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and stored.
  • Prepare customer orders for shipment, including packing and labeling packages.
  • Utilize scanners and other equipment to read bar codes and track inventory movements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that all products meet quality and safety standards, reporting any defects or issues to management.
  • Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet drivers, and work at heights up to 35 feet, with provided training and certification.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 49 pounds, with or without assistance.
  • Push utility carts up to 60 pounds, using proper lifting techniques.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts, with regular breaks.
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around the workspace.
  • Go up and down stairs (where applicable), and work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable).

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of data entry software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
