Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate Data Entry: Enter data into various databases and systems from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Review and Correction: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and check the output to ensure high-quality data.
  • Data Verification: Verify data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Data Updates and Retrieval: Update existing data and retrieve data from the database as requested, providing timely and accurate information to team members and clients.
  • Data Preservation: Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and maintain the integrity of our databases and systems.
  • File Organization and Maintenance: Organize and maintain files and records for efficient data retrieval, ensuring that all information is easily accessible.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or issues with data entry, and maintain excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confidentiality and Security: Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information, adhering to data protection regulations and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or similar role, with a strong understanding of data entry principles and practices.
  • Typing Skills: Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors, ensuring high-quality data entry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
