Job Overview and Responsibilities

In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for performing a range of administrative tasks to support the processing of medical claim reviews by our team of professionals. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Work Schedule and Training

This is a full-time position with a variety of shifts available, including:

  • Monday – Friday; 8-hour shifts between 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Tuesday – Saturday; 8:00am – 4:30pm

During the initial training period, which will last approximately 2-3 weeks, you will be required to work Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. This comprehensive training program will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in your role and make a seamless transition into our team.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Be a resident of New York State (NYS)
  • Have previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Possess excellent word processing and data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects with ease

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience with medical claim reviews or healthcare administration
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience with customer service and clerical support in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
