We're now seeking an experienced Program and Project Management Manager to join our team in a remote capacity. As a key member of our Wholesale Carrier Projects team, you'll play a critical role in managing a large portfolio of projects that drive revenue and cost savings for our organization. About the Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a large portfolio of projects within the wholesale carrier space, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. You'll be the main point of contact for all projects within the VPS organization, managing all aspects of project delivery from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts across the PM Team, Solutions Engineering, PMO, SMO, Marketing, and Sales for all projects assigned to VPS.
- Drive teamwork within a team of Project Managers and Solution Architect Engineers to ensure strategy, goals, and priorities are aligned for all projects.
- Collaborate with SMO, PMO, Solutions Engineering, Service Assurance, and Sales on all projects, adapting to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Create and manage assigned portfolio of projects, managing them end-to-end.
- Review, distribute, and manage workload to ensure milestones and deliverables are met for all projects.
- Facilitate team meetings and cross-functional trainings with teams within VPS.
- Present and communicate to all levels of the business, including executive leadership.
- Manage data integrity, reporting, and tracking of project dates and timelines.
- Provide clear direction, pragmatic problem-solving techniques, and constructive criticism.
- Solve problems by digging into the details to determine root causes, quantifying impact, and pursuing impactful solutions.
- Consult with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing on critical account-level strategies.
- Share effective tactics with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Support.
- Engage as a core team member on discussions, initiatives, and working sessions related to assigned projects.
- Manage customer inquiries pre- and post-migration.
- Onboard new team members, documenting processes and systems related to specific projects.
- Assist in cross-functional initiatives and discussions to ensure business requirements, test plans, and tracking metrics are implemented.
- Lead, coach, and manage customer service, marketing, and sales teams to drive efficiencies.
- Ensure representation as a customer advocate is maintained during discussions that impact customers.
- Regularly communicate with customers to address concerns and ensure a positive experience.
- Define and manage project activities to meet Verizon's goals for financial performance.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in program and project management, with a minimum of four years of relevant experience. You'll also need to have:
Essential Qualifications:
- Four or more years of program or project management experience.
- Knowledge of product or product lifecycle management experience.
- Project Management experience with experience deploying and delivering complex solutions.
- Full knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google.
- Knowledge of VZB, VZT, and fXO Products.
- Experience and knowledge of systems such as SFDC/Apptus, VECRM, Contract Viewer, Customer 360, Customer Insight, TCOMS, F&E, WFS, TIRKS, TBS/Dashvue, ALT, and Cross Reference.

- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence organizational direction and departmental initiatives.
- Project Management Certification.
- Ability to be resilient and tenacious during tough assignments.
- Business product lifecycle management experience.
- Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.

The compensation range for this position is between $96,000.00 and $179,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.
