Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short-term, mid-term, and long-term growth strategies to drive sales, share, and profit results on Amazon, aligning with blithequark's overall digital commerce vision.
  • Collaborate with Protein leadership, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of plans, including sales forecasts, brand and marketing support, and merchandising and promotional strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including buying teams, to drive growth, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful partnerships.
  • Educate the organization on the strategic importance of e-commerce and trends/developments within this rapidly evolving channel, driving adoption and execution of e-commerce strategies.
  • Analyze data and insights to provide sound merchandising, marketing, promotional, and product optimization recommendations, driving business results and growth.
  • Own and execute merchandising, marketing, promotional, and content plans, collaborating with brand, season, digital, shopper marketing, and sales teams to drive business results.
  • Co-own relationships with content development, creative agencies, and media agencies to ensure effective execution of plans and optimization of creative content.
  • Establish business reporting and KPIs to ensure progress against objectives, communicating results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Serve as an operational evangelist for assigned accounts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure catalog accuracy, in-stock/forecasting reliability, new product setup, and sales planning.

Essential Qualifications

Experience and Education

  • 5+ years of experience managing a P&L or Digital Commerce business, preferably in a CPG background.
  • BA/BS in business, marketing, or a comparable field; MBA or equivalent preferred.

Skills and Competencies

  • Previous sales experience with direct management of a customer/retailer relationship, preferably with Amazon or translatable experience.
  • Demonstrated P&L management with strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate high-impact initiatives.
  • Experience directly managing customers, including strengths in advising and negotiating.
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Excellent management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage multiple priorities while generating positive relationships.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience managing digital customers, media, and creative development, SEO, and e-commerce merchandising, preferably with translatable experience.
  • Proven ability to translate insights into sound merchandising, marketing, promotional, and product optimization recommendations (prescriptive selling).
  • Superb communication skills, including strong oral and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and quick learning.
  • Positive attitude and high level of energy.
