What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Manager at blithequark, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence while maintaining a safety-conscious environment that promotes end-to-end exceptional customer care. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Establishing team and individual goals that support departmental and organizational objectives
  • Mentoring and coaching frontline colleagues in skill development, customer care height, and company culture behaviors
  • Fostering effective relationships with colleagues that promote empathy, genuineness, trustworthiness, respect, and pride
  • Effectively allocating resources and providing support to enable teams to meet operational goals in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring the ongoing safety and reliability of our operation by conducting self-audits, observations, root cause investigations, and other related safety initiatives
  • Promoting effective communication among departments to engage our team in achieving shared goals
  • Knowledge of Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) and ensuring colleagues adhere to corporate policy/procedure

  • Managing elevated service issues and being visible to colleagues when issues arise

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful as a Customer Service Manager at blithequark, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Previous airport customer service experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading others
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures and functional automation applications
  • Ability to extract the best performance from the workforce through proactive employee engagement and support for an inclusive workspace
  • Effective listening skills, decision-making skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work under demanding operational circumstances
  • Ability to prioritize and execute with a sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • USPS clearance or the ability to obtain USPS clearance
