We're on the hunt for a skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our remote team, working with clients across the United States, including Louisiana.

The Opportunity

As a Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the frontline representative for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and support via inbound phone calls. This is a permanent work-from-home role that requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, communication skills, and empathy. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PCP Change/Provider Lookup to assist members with healthcare provider information
  • Look up Medical Benefits, including benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisites, and coverage
  • Review Ancillary Benefits, such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, and more
  • Process claims inquiries and resolve issues related to member billing
  • Answer enrollment/disenrollment inquiries and provide guidance on healthcare plans
  • Address Grievances/Complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Handle billing-related tasks, including making payments, transaction history, and premium inquiries
  • Manage LEP inquiries and disputes, ensuring timely resolution
  • Assist with material requests, such as ID cards, Large/Brail print materials, and Catalogs
  • Provide self-help options, including guidance on member portal usage
  • Offer local locations to pharmacies, OTC, and Specialist, enhancing the member experience

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 18 months of Call center experience, preferably in a healthcare or customer service setting
  • At least 2 years of Computer Experience in a work environment, demonstrating your ability to navigate multiple systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
  • The capacity to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A dedicated workspace at home, with a reliable internet connection (50 Mb/s download and 10 Mb/s upload speeds required)
  • A strong display of empathy and care when interacting with customers

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having a healthcare background can be a significant advantage in this role. If you have experience working in healthcare or a related field, you'll be well-positioned to understand the nuances of our clients' needs and provide exceptional support.
