Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work in our inbound call center, responding to patient inquiries, resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service. You will be the primary point of contact for our patients, addressing their concerns and questions regarding prescription refills, order status, and insurance coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone, providing timely and accurate information regarding prescription refills, order status, and insurance coverage.
  • Resolve patient issues and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Utilize computer skills to access and update patient information, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of patient requests.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and resolution of patient issues.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity, meeting or exceeding performance metrics and quality standards.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
  • 6 months of experience working in a call center environment, handling a high volume of customer inquiries.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Windows, Microsoft, or other applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Residency within 75 miles of Mount Prospect, IL.

Preferred Qualifications:

We prefer candidates with:

  • 6 months of experience handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions.
