About blithequark and the Role

blithequark's work-from-home team spans across 40 preferred residency states in the USA. We're currently looking for talented individuals to join our team from various locations, excluding AK, CA, HI, and outside the United States. Residents from Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. may be considered based on special business needs.

What You'll be Doing

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be the face of blithequark, providing top-notch service to our customers. If you have a passion for helping others, this role is perfect for you. You'll be responsible for:

  • Bringing your passion and strong product and brand knowledge to recommend upgrades to customers' health plans
  • Conducting research and making outbound calls to provide answers to customers regarding general healthcare benefit and eligibility questions, enrollment status requests for new and existing members
  • Assisting members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account, locating doctor and facility information
  • Providing exceptional customer experiences by being responsive, empathetic, and solution-focused

What You Bring to the Role

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 6 months or more of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or related industry
  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience and high-speed internet (> 15 mbps)
  • A USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative)
  • A smartphone or another device that runs iOS or Android for daily log-in
