**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Receiving and processing requests for technical assistance from customers via phone, email, or online chat
* Opening and submitting tickets into blithequark's ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
* Reviewing each open ticket to determine the outcome of the Help Desk's response (e.g., did they resolve the issue or does it require a coordinated call with the customer?)
* Emailing responses to customers to ensure they receive exceptional customer service and updates on their issues
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and issue resolutions
* Collaborating with the Help Desk team to resolve complex technical issues and provide timely support to customers
**Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
* Strong typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into our ticketing system
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
* Basic knowledge of computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
* Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
* Previous experience in an I.T. Help Desk or online customer service role, particularly in a technology company or busy online retailer
* Familiarity with ticketing systems and help desk software
* Experience with email management and customer communication
* Basic knowledge of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
