Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a Data Entry Clerk at blithequark, you will play a critical role in maintaining and updating our databases, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our services. Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing documentation for filing and associated correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtaining and verifying supporting information and documentation to ensure efficient administration of files.
  • Responding promptly to queries and requests from creditors and debtors, providing excellent customer service.
  • Liaising with the administration team to obtain information, resolve complex issues, and provide support.
  • Utilizing Microsoft Dynamics CRM to extract file details and information, and performing various tasks within the software.
  • Preparing and reviewing files for completeness, following up on outstanding documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaising with internal clients for clarification and issue resolution, providing exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizing file documents according to our naming protocols, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performing calculations, such as income and surplus income obligations, and conducting searches for insolvency and other relevant information.
  • Creating documents required for signature, reviewing sign-up documents for accuracy and policy compliance, and filing documents with the Official Receiver.
  • Accurately transferring information from written and scanned records into Ascend, our internal software.
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and protecting operations by keeping information secure.
  • Electronic filing of statutory documents, preparing documents for DocuSign, and reviewing amended proposals.
  • Performing other tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Proficient technical skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset, but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to others.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff members and external clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a debt solution or financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with Ascend or similar software.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and regulations in multiple provincial jurisdictions.
