Job Summary

As a Part-Time Evening Group Therapist - Virtual, you will play a critical role in facilitating group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with our treatment team to provide comprehensive care. You will work with patients who struggle with mental health and substance use issues, and you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives. This is a part-time position with immediate openings available, and we are seeking a licensed therapist with experience working in higher levels of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups and process groups in a virtual setting, focusing on addressing patient symptoms and building necessary skills for long-term wellness
  • Develop and implement evidence-based curricula that promote holistic patient care and address the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with a dynamic treatment team to develop and update treatment plans, and provide active engagement with patients and team members
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to ethical guidelines, state and federal guidelines, and compliance regulations (HIPAA, Mandated Reporting, etc.)
  • Provide high-quality care that is patient-centered and trauma-informed
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or equivalent field
  • License: Current unencumbered clinical license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LPC-MHSP, LADAC, or LMFT) per state of practice guidelines
  • Experience: Experience working with individuals who struggle with mental health and substance use issues, or equivalent experience. Dual diagnosis background. Experience working in higher levels of care (inpatient, residential, PHP, IOP)
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a virtual setting, and strong organizational and time management skills
  • Competencies: Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
