The Role of a Night Shift LPN
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care for an extended care patient with trach, vent, and G-tube needs on a part-time or full-time basis. You will be working in the patient's home, ensuring their safety, comfort, and medical stability throughout the night. Nightshift hours are 1900-0700. As a Night Shift LPN, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the life of your patient and their family, providing personalized care and support that meets their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering specialized care for a patient with trach, vent, and G-tube, including monitoring their respiratory and nutritional health during your shifts
- Administering medications and tube feedings as prescribed by the patient's healthcare team
- Performing routine assessments, interventions, and adjustments as necessary to ensure the patient's safety and comfort
- Communicating with the care team and maintaining accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care
- Developing strong, supportive relationships with the patient and their family, providing emotional support and education as needed
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the patient's unique needs
Essential Qualifications
- Current Colorado LPN license
- Experience with trach, vent, and G-tube care preferred, but not required
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a home care setting
- A compassionate, patient-focused approach to nursing, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $33.00 - $38.00 per hour, with additional shift differentials for all night shifts. Our benefits package includes:
