Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to provide expert maintenance support to our plant operations. As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and servicing machinery and equipment support systems, as well as performing predictive and preventive maintenance tasks. If you have a strong mechanical and electrical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Install, repair, and service machinery and equipment support systems, including minor electrical repairs and installations.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, run tests, isolate problems, and remove/replace failed components.
- Predictive and Preventive Maintenance: Perform predictive and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain production lines and ensure equipment reliability.
- Welding and Fabrication: Apply prior welding experience to perform repairs and modifications to equipment and machinery.
- PLC Controls and Automation: Work with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems and automation technologies to optimize equipment performance.
- Safety and Compliance: Comply with all safety policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Coca-Cola Quality System Procedures.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting: Record inspection requirements and data on provided forms, and communicate system problems and solutions to the team.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Fill in on any line, as required, and work extended hours, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's or Technical Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Work Experience: 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance, with prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience.
- Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge: Strong mechanical and electrical background, with experience in lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and PLC controls.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to follow manufacturer's specifications and direction.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle material weighing up to 50 lbs, push and pull forces of 80lbs, squat, kneel, and bend over at the waist, and stand/walk for extended periods in temperature extremes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Welding Experience: Prior welding experience is preferred.
- High-Speed Industrial Experience: Previous experience in a high-speed industrial work environment.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools.
