About the position Responsibilities • Serve as a liaison between clinical operations, physicians, and information systems. • Analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions for clinical processes and workflows. • Collaborate with clinical staff to identify opportunities for optimization and technical improvements. • Provide onboarding, education, and training for clinical end users on EHR and clinical systems. • Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for clinical system issues. • Design resources to enhance informatics knowledge among clinical end users. • Implement clinical best practices and workflows across departments. • Participate in clinical information system life cycle reviews. • Recommend additional training and education for various roles. • Provide guidance and resources to new team members. Requirements • Associate's Degree in Nursing, Allied Health, or related field, or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field. • Typically requires 3 years of clinical/healthcare experience and/or clinical workflows. • Current licensure or certification in the supported areas may be required. • Knowledge of clinical application software and network software. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access). • Ability to adhere to project timelines and participate in project discussions. • Experience working with clinical and technical customers. Nice-to-haves • Strong presentation skills. • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to information security and confidentiality.
