Job Summary

As a Commissioned Freight Sales Agent, you'll work as an independent agent on a commission basis, responsible for presenting and selling freight products and services to new and existing customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Present and sell freight products and services to new and existing customers, identifying opportunities and building relationships to drive growth and revenue.
  • Prospect and contact potential freight partners to expand our network and increase our customer base.
  • Book carriers to handle shipments, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Reach agreed-upon contracts targets by the deadline, meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals.
  • Maintain a book of business to retain continuous freight and manufacturers, building long-term relationships and ensuring a stable revenue stream.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments, providing exceptional customer service and support.
