Job Overview

This full-time position is based in our NBS service center, where you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to voicemails and emails, and providing top-notch customer service to our participants. As a Benefit Specialist, you will be working an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, and will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and respond to incoming participant phone calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Meet or exceed required levels of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in all measured areas, including customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rate
  • Complete other projects as assigned by the Director or Supervisor, including reviewing and approving reimbursement claims
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
  • Utilize strong typing and 10-key skills to accurately and efficiently process participant requests and claims

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with participants via phone, email, and voicemail
  • A highly motivated and positive attitude, with a strong desire to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the success of the team
  • The ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
  • The ability to work well within a team, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork, and a willingness to support and assist colleagues as needed
  • Spanish speaking skills are useful, but not required

Education and Experience

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this position. While prior experience in customer service or a related field is not necessary, it is highly desirable. Physical Requirements

This position requires the employee to be seated for the majority of the work time. As a remote worker, you will need to have a dedicated workspace that is quiet, private, and free from distractions, with a reliable computer, internet connection, and phone.
