**Responsibilities**
As a Phone & Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
* Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, ensuring that customers receive prompt and efficient service
* Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing real-time support to customers
* Following established communication scripts to address various topics and concerns
* Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions or alternatives to meet their requirements
* Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide expert support
* Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail
* Navigating online platforms efficiently to access customer information and resources
* Working with customers to resolve requests and records related to shift sign-ups
* Identifying customers' needs, researching to determine if they have the necessary credentials, and communicating the results to customers
* Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly transitioning between tasks and maintaining composure under pressure
* Maintaining punctuality and attendance, ensuring that you're available at your desk during scheduled hours

**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
* 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
* Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online platforms
* Previous remote work from home experience is a plus
* Quick learning abilities and the capacity to work independently
* Accurate typing skills, with a minimum of 35 words per minute
* Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening abilities
* A background check that meets state and federal laws

**Compensation, Perks, and Benefits**
As a Phone & Chat Specialist, you'll enjoy:
* Starting pay of $14/hour, with shift differential (extra $1/hour for nights and weekends) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
* Paid training program, including 3 weeks of comprehensive training from 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday (EST)
* Full-time status, with 40 hours of work per week
