Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous support to internal and external customers, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the success of our organization, handling various tasks such as data entry, customer service, and issue resolution.
- Handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment, calculating charges, making change, and balancing daily transactions.
- Check in luggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist on a case-by-case basis.
- Manage upset customers due to oversales, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues promptly and within guidelines established by the organization.
- Provide current and accurate information, including admission, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure data, and answer general inquiries from customers and other airport visitors.
- Complete forms and reports as required by the organization, writing anomaly and complaint reports as needed.
- Perform other work-related tasks as directed by management, adhering to the organization's policies and procedures.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to type and/or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job.
- Ability to read reports, follow instructions, learn, and understand tagging techniques, rules, and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meeting the public, and working under stressful circumstances.
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen or have approval to work in the U.S.
- Ability to obtain a SIDA identification and meet all local airport requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or data entry.
- Knowledge of a foreign language is desirable but not required.
- Ability to work shift work and/or overtime.
