Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels, utilizing standard procedures and scripts to ensure consistency and quality.
- Gather information, perform research, and provide timely resolutions to customer concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers, patients, and internal stakeholders, providing clear and concise information about services, policies, and procedures.
- Schedule work to ensure accurate phone coverage, prioritize calls, and escalate complex issues to senior representatives or management as required.
- Assist in planning and implementing department goals, making recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and customer-centric approach to service delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements: Education and Experience
To succeed as a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or college degree from an accredited institution.
- 2-5 years of industry experience in medical revenue cycle management, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Medical experience, either practical or classroom knowledge, to inform your understanding of healthcare operations and revenue cycle management.
- Proven understanding of the medical revenue cycle, including billing, coding, and insurance reimbursement processes.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of your work.
- A good attendance record, with a commitment to being punctual and reliable.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude.
- PC proficiency in MS Office Suite Applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
