Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for detailed entry of donor gifts and data into our donor database system, working with various teams across the organization. This is a remote opportunity, and you must be comfortable working in west coast or central time zones.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of donor gifts into our donor database system
  • Assist the Development team with requests for lists and reports from the donor database
  • Utilize various procedures, processes, and innovative technological tools to ensure efficient data entry
  • Collaborate with National and Site Development teams, as well as National Finance and Information Technology teams, as necessary
  • Ensure donor gifts are entered in accordance with donor intent

What You Bring

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Related Work Experience:

  • One year of data entry experience required
  • Experience supporting multi-site development, fundraising, and administrative tasks preferred

Computer/Software Skills:

  • Strong computer skills, including demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Donor database software experience strongly preferred

Other Skills, Abilities, and Requirements:

  • Significant commitment to the mission of helping low-income students earn admission to college and persist toward degree completion
  • Desire to engage in diversity, inclusion, and/or equity work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Attention to detail, including proofreading and project follow-through
  • Comfort with data collection, analysis, and a strong focus on results
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when needed
  • Office environment with limited travel
  • Ability to stand and/or sit for a minimum of 7 hours a day
