About the Role: Customer Engineer – Exchange

We're looking for an experienced Customer Engineer – Exchange to join our team as a key technical resource for enterprise customers in the legacy space. As a Customer Engineer, you will focus on delivering proactive services such as education workshops, assessments, and expert guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preview new technology before others in the industry and learn how to make the best from it.
  • Visit customers to train them and share industry and development expertise.
  • Be part of a thriving developer community that's constantly looking for ways to improve our customers' experience, software development goals, and use of technology.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure deliveries align with customer projects and milestones.
  • Gain access to expertise and support from consulting practice and product groups.

  • Analyze problems and provide solutions.
  • Maintain and extend accreditations and certifications.
  • Assist in developing best practices for key technologies and products to support technical team readiness.

  • Engineers must possess strong technical writing, presentation, and training skills.
  • Fluent English oral and written communication.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Exchange server architecture (2010, 2013, 2016) and Exchange Online.
  • Deep troubleshooting skills with Exchange server (2010, 2013, 2016) and Exchange Online.
  • Designing and implementing services of MS Exchange server (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019) such as:
    • High availability (DAG).
    • Public Folders.
    • Mail Flow.
    • Disaster Recovery.
    • Managed Availability.
    • Messaging Policies.
    • Compliance.
    • Configuring Reporting & Logging.
    • Mailbox migrations both on-prem and cloud.
  • Experience in assessing Exchange Servers, health checks of existing solutions, providing best practice recommendations, guidance on clients, and supporting customers on their operations in Exchange environments which includes change, release, performance, and availability management.
  • Experience with Exchange migrations, upgrades, and optimizations.
  • Deep understanding of SMTP.
  • Experience and skills with Failover Clustering.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud-based solutions and migrations.
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks and best practices.
  • Experience with project management and delivery methodologies.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
