Key Responsibilities
- Review basic healthcare industry loan requests and gather information to make informed decisions
- Ensure loan recommendations meet company and industry guidelines
- Receive direction from managers and exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of programs and risk
- Collaborate and consult with managers, internal and external business partners
- Analyze personal or business financial statements and tax returns (commercial and individual) to make sound underwriting decisions
- Communicate findings in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including:
Essential Qualifications
- 6+ months of underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 6+ months experience reviewing personal or business financial statements and tax returns (commercial and individual)
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to thoroughly analyze personal or business financial statements and tax returns (commercial and individual) on an independent basis and communicate findings in a concise manner
- Experience meeting high production and quality standards in a fast-paced, development and production support environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
