Key Responsibilities
- Lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering complex data science, machine learning, AI, or optimization products in a timely and efficient manner, working closely with business stakeholders to understand context-oriented problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Manage the creation and communication of results from complex data analysis and/or the development of data science products, ensuring effective metrics and value delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with key business leaders, internal clients, and partners to promote and advise on opportunities in your functional area that can be addressed through data science, machine learning, AI, or optimization.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of products, prioritizing delivery in collaboration with internal clients and communicating results and value delivered through effective metrics.
- Recruit, develop, and retain individuals with the skills, attitude, and experience necessary to achieve goals and objectives as part of a high-performing, durable team.
- Recognize achievements and advocate for career development of employees to build a bench using mentorship, stretch opportunities, and training programs via a skills-based learning plan.
- Create an environment where dialogue, discussion, and diversity of thought are encouraged, expected, and welcomed to foster high morale, integrity, trust, and collaboration.
- May perform other work-related tasks as directed by the Employee's Chiefs.
Essential Qualifications and Skills

- Knowledge of data acquisition and integration strategies, platforms, and tools.
- Knowledge of data science, machine learning, AI, or optimization product development strategies, platforms, and tools.
- Ability to lead a team to develop multiple, highly complex data science, machine learning, AI, or optimization products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including employees, customers, and leadership, and communicate effectively to that network in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to demonstrate self-confidence and emotional intelligence in critical discussions that result in positive action or change.
- Ability to develop talent to create a strong bench with the agility to replace key positions in functional areas.
- Capacity to adapt to changing conditions, unexpected limitations, or challenges and develop ideas, processes, and policies through innovative problem-solving to meet those easy to complex challenges.
