Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their queries, and resolve any issues they may have in a timely and professional manner.
- Processing Transactions: Operate a sales register, process transactions accurately, and handle customer payments, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintaining Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing, including the checkout area, shelves, and displays.
- Providing Product Recommendations: Suggest products to customers based on their needs and preferences, and promote sales through effective merchandising and promotional activities.
- Supporting Store Operations: Participate in stock management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Working in the Photo Department: Assist customers with photo-related services, including printing photos, creating personalized gifts, and operating photo processing equipment.
- Fulfilling Online Orders: Pick and pack online orders, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Maintaining Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to controlled substances, customer data protection, and workplace safety.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management in a professional and courteous manner.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a sales register.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:
- Previous experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.
- Prior experience working at blithequark or a similar retail pharmacy chain.
- Knowledge of store systems and equipment, including sales registers and inventory management software.
