About the Position

The Central Florida Sales internship aims to enhance ticket sales for Disney products in the tourist corridors of Central Florida. As a Sales Support Intern, you will work closely with various internal and external partners to deliver impactful sales-driven communication and foster positive relationships with frontline ticket sellers. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Disney's sales efforts in the region while ensuring compliance with company guidelines and supporting marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website and Copyright Verifications: Perform website and copyright verifications to ensure alignment with company guidelines.
  • Client Website Management: Oversee client websites to ensure compliance with contractual guidelines.
  • Client Benefit Programs: Monitor and process requests for client benefit programs.
  • Marketing Materials Endorsement: Partner with colleagues to handle the endorsement of marketing materials for clients.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and manage relationships with key clients for effective collaboration.
  • Point-of-Purchase Displays: Monitor point-of-purchase displays and marketing tactics in various locations.
  • Issue Reporting: Report any issues to the appropriate service provider.
  • Product and Event Training: Facilitate on-the-spot product and event training for clients and OPCs.
  • Market Activity Reporting: Report weekly market activity based on feedback from internal partners.
  • Sales Growth Opportunities: Identify potential opportunities to increase ticket sales.
  • Team Meetings: Participate in and prepare communication for daily team meetings.
  • Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for internal and external clients, providing customer service assistance.
  • Sales Team Support: Assist with answering calls and addressing inquiries related to specific programs or clients.
  • Account Management: Provide assistance to the Sales team while maintaining positive relationships with top accounts.
  • Client Agreements and Promotions: Support in coordinating third-party client agreements and promotions.
  • Sales and Marketing Programs: Assist with the implementation and execution of new and ongoing sales and marketing programs.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Partnering and Relationship Skills: Strong partnering and relationship skills in a collaborative team environment.
  • Independence and Prioritization: Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Disney College Program or Cast Member Experience: Current or prior participation in the Disney College Program or as a Cast Member.
  • Previous Internship or Professional Experience: Previous internship or professional work experience in Sales or a similar field.
