About CVS Health and Our Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) Division

CVS Health is a Fortune 4 company that is dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare for all Americans. Our Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) division is a leading provider of pharmacy benefit management services, and we're currently hiring a full-time Customer Service team to support our members' drug plans. As a Customer Care Representative, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service to our members, answering questions about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions, and providing solutions to facilitate treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to plan members via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Answer questions about health insurance, drug coverage, and prescriptions, and provide solutions to facilitate treatment
  • Utilize computer systems and software to access and manage member information, process requests, and document interactions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to resolve member issues and concerns
  • Adhere to HIPAA compliance and federal regulations, maintaining confidentiality and security of member information
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills

Essential Qualifications

  • 1 year of customer interaction experience (e.g., call center, retail, customer service, hospitality industry, military)
  • Computer experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to solve problems in a positive and constructive manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey trust and confidence
  • Patient and understanding, with a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for plan members
  • Reliability and compliance with certain standards, including HIPAA and federal regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field
  • Knowledge of health insurance, pharmacy benefits, and healthcare regulations
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
