Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician II to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a QC Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and maintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare specimens for testing and perform tests in accordance with written test procedures
- Schedule testing to meet department and plant commitments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks
- Maintain instrumentation and equipment in alignment with manufacturer's labeling and in-house audit and calibration procedures
- Leverage GMP in maintaining records and logs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain working laboratory inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed
- Conduct other laboratory functions required to support business needs, including assisting in the training of peers
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in QA or QC or related field, with experience in a cGMP environment
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English, including technical and scientific language
- Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a laboratory setting, with knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Familiarity with GMP and regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO guidelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours a day)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to move repetitively, including pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, bending, grasping, and crouching
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, with adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
