• Conduct experiments following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).
• Execute quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of experimental results.
• Collect and analyze data accurately, documenting findings in accordance with laboratory protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research projects and development initiatives.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Monitor culture health and growth through microscopy and routine assessments.
• Conduct basic downstream assays (e.g., viability, proliferation, immunostaining, imaging).
• Accurately record experimental data, maintain lab notebooks, and follow established SOPs.
• Collaborate with scientists to support experimental workflows, including drug testing studies.
• Ensure compliance with biosafety and ethical standards in handling human-derived materials.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related field preferred; relevant laboratory experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture; experience with primary cells and/or cancer organoids strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and standard laboratory equipment (biosafety cabinets, centrifuges, microscopes, incubators).
• Experience in tissue dissociation, 3D culture systems, or extracellular matrices (e.g., Matrigel®) is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
